A18 motorway · Lumbi car parkBy car
- Take the A18 Messina–Catania motorway and leave at the Taormina exit. Continue towards Taormina for about 2 km.
- At the first roundabout you will see the large “Lumbi” car park on your right. Park your car and take the shuttle bus to the centre of Taormina.
- The shuttle is always available in the Lumbi car park forecourt and will take you to the stone arch of “Porta Messina”.
- Walk through the Porta Messina arch and continue downhill along Corso Umberto for 50 metres, until you reach the fork with Via Di Giovanni (the street on the left).
- Continue for another 30 metres along Via Di Giovanni and you will find our pink building on the right, with the sign “Pensione Casa Diana”.
Catania airport · 45 kmBy plane
The nearest airport is Catania “Fontanarossa”, about 45 km from Taormina. There are weekly flights from the main European cities and daily connections from Rome, Milan, Naples, Bologna and more.
Buses and taxis are available just outside the airport. On request, you can use our private airport shuttle service to and from Catania airport.
Taormina–Giardini Naxos stationBy train
The station is Taormina–Giardini Naxos. To reach the centre of Taormina, you can take a taxi right outside the station, or the bus, which runs frequently and will take you to the Bus Terminal (from there, follow the walking directions below for arrivals by bus).

Etna Trasporti · About 60 minutesBy bus
You can reach Taormina by bus from Catania Fontanarossa international airport. A direct Autolinee Etna Trasporti bus takes about 60 minutes from Catania airport to Taormina, via the motorway.
Tickets can be bought at the airport or on the bus. The stop is right outside the airport terminal building.
Once at the Taormina bus station (Terminal Bus), walk uphill along Via Pirandello for about 200 metres until you reach the Porta Messina arch; from there, continue on foot to Via Di Giovanni as described for arrivals by car. Alternatively, you can take a taxi straight to your destination.
